Tourist Season in Bali, is July and August and again Christmas and New Year.
Bali or Island of the Gods , is one of more than 17,000 islands in the Indonesian archipelago and is located just over 2 kilometres (almost 1.5
miles) east from Java and west of Lombok. There are about 4 million people and an estimated 30,000 expatriates living on the island which is a combination of friendly people, visual culture infused with spirituality and amazing beaches with great surfing and diving.
Bali is renowned for its sophisticated art forms, such as painting, sculpture, woodcarving, handcrafts, and performing arts. Balinese percussion orchestra, known as gamelan, is very famous. Arts and crafts are always popular and also dried spices and coffee are very popular items to take home.

Outside these peak seasons, Bali can be surprisingly quiet and good discounts on accommodation are often available. Daytime temperatures are pleasant, varying between 20-33⁰ C (68-93⁰ F) year-round.
Balinese cuisine is rice, vegetables, a small quantity of fish or meat and condiments, usually cooked in the morning. Most Balinese meals are eaten quickly and dining out and in groups is not a social custom.
